Pacific House Emergency Shelter

In 2008, Tillamook County Women's Resource Center opened a new chapter in its history: a safehouse to serve the emergency shelter and recovery needs of our Tillamook County clients.

With 4,800 square feet of space, including six bedrooms and four bathrooms, the shelter has the capacity to house multiple women and their children - a total of up to 16 individuals at any one time.
The facility offers a number of features designed to help clients recover from their trauma and rebuild their lives. The facilities include:
  • A group room
  • Two living rooms
  • A community kitchen
  • A play yard for children and a garden area
  • Computers at which residents may work or do internet research
  • Secure facilities to ensure safety
  • A resident "house mother" who is on site throughout the night. Resource Center staff are on hand during the day.

While in residence at the shelter, clients have access to all the resources of the Tillamook County Women's Resource Center. The shelter provides a supportive environment and an opportunity to heal.
