Providing leadership to others

For the past two years, we have been conducting a major public outreach and domestic violence campaign, with the help of a generous federal grant from the Office on Violence Against Women of the U.S. Department of Justice. We were just recognized for our leadership in this area. We were asked to present during the recent conference of the Oregon Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence in Bend. Kathleen Marvin, Romy Carver and Deborah Yund did the presentation and discussed our prevention efforts, the media campaign, our public forums, summit and our work in the schools.

We are very honored to be considered leaders in the effort to combat domestic violence in Oregon. And we are proud that our work has helped put Tillamook County at the forefront of this work.
