'Imagine No Violence' Summit
Thursday & Friday, Sept. 9-10
Tillamook Bay Community College

Imagine a time without violence in Tillamook County. How would it look and feel? How can we make it happen?

As community service providers, what do our agencies do to prevent violence, support victims and hold perpetrators accountable? How can we best coordinate our efforts to achieve optimum success? What changes would make our vision a reality? How can each of us contribute to making our community free from violence?

On Sept. 9-10, Tillamook County Women’s Resource Center will hold a ground-breaking event. Over the course of two days, we will present an array of workshops addressing topics ranging from existing agency services and resources to the roots and causes of violence.

But more than that, we will ask each participant to join us in a visioning process to map out concrete ideas to address the problem of violence at its deepest level and effect change in profound ways. Acquire new skills and contribute your vision for a violence-free Tillamook County.
