The mission of the Tillamook County Women’s Resource Center is to end domestic and sexual violence in our community. TCWRC is a nonprofit organization that works towards it's mission by providing assistance to individuals who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence and stalking. We work to engage our community in ending violence by offering prevention, education and outreach programs.
All client information is strictly confidential. There are no fees for our services.
Executive Director Named
January 26, 2017-The Board of Directors of the Tillamook County Women's Resource Center (TCWRC) has announced the appointment of Valerie Bundy as Executive Director. She was most recently Director of Housing Services for the Domestic Violence Resource Center in Hillsboro, OR. She also held positions there as Residential Support Staff and Clinical Case Manager.
Bundy earned a BA in Psychology from the University of Alaska Anchorage and an MA in Counseling Psychology from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR. She is a licensed professional counselor with the State of Oregon and is a certified counselor with the National Board for Certified Counselors. She has served as a Board member of the Washington County Housing and Supportive Services Network and on the Executive Committee for the Tri-County Domestic Violence & Sexual Violence Intervention Council.
According to Carol Brown, Board Chair for the TCWRC, "The Board of Directors is extremely pleased that Valerie has accepted this leadership position with us. We feel that her education, experience and passion for our mission is exactly what the organization needs to continue our work to eliminate domestic and sexual violence in our community."
